Puerto Morelos is located between Cancún and Playa del Carmen, about 20–25 minutes from each destination. It is a relaxed, small-town, authentic and less commercial than nearby resort cities.

Beachside area includes the town of Puerto Morelos. Here you will find boutiques, cafés, beach clubs. The second area is Colonia, across the highway from Puerto Morelos. This area is a residential area with local markets and restaurants.
The Beaches & Water
You will find calm, shallow waters protected by the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. This area is excellent for snorkeling and diving. Enjoy the wide and sandy beaches with a mix of public access and beach clubs.
